Richard Mann, PsyD
Dr. Richard Mann is a dedicated, Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in individual and family psychotherapy with adolescents (12 and up) and adults addressing interpersonal conflict, parenting and discipline, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse issues. Dr. Mann's background includes working in community mental health settings and working with individuals who experience severe mental illness.
Dr. Mann employs an integrative approach to therapy, which primarily consists of interpersonal therapy and motivational interviewing, with the incorporation of cognitive-behavioral interventions. In addition to providing various modalities of therapy, Dr. Mann also has experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessment for individuals of all ages, including testing for diagnosis and treatment planning, recommendations for residential placement, and for identifying autism and learning disabilities.
Dr. Mann has provided psychotherapy and psychological assessment since 2010, and he received his doctorate in clinical psychology in 2016 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. In addition to clinical services, Dr. Mann has provided consultation services to several Head Start programs on Chicago's south side for over two years as a Mental Health Consultant. Dr. Mann believes in a holistic approach to mental health, and he incorporates physical health and nutrition into the treatment process whenever it is appropriate.
