Payments Due
​A credit card on file is required. No other forms of payment are accepted. Your card will be charged following your session. Please be aware that you are responsible for paying amounts left unpaid by your insurance company.

Consider Out of Network Benefits

Many insurance companies offer "out-of-network benefits". This allows you the flexibility to choose a therapist outside of your insurance network, while still taking advantage of your insurance coverage. To access "out-of-network benefits" you must first pay the therapist's fee up front (at the time of session). You will then be provided with a special receipt known as a Super Bill  you can submit  to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you need assistance submitting a Super Bill,  Reimbursify can greatly simplify the process for you.

Insurance companies often reimburse 40% - 80% of the standard fee, after a yearly deductible is met, with a limit of sessions per calendar year. Many clients choose this option so they can see the clinician of their choice.

No Shows and Balance Due

​No Show Fee: Full Amount of your session

​Balance Due: 
Please call 512-704-8349 to attain your remaining balance (Balance Due). You may then pay the balance using PayPal. Should you chose to pay online via PayPal, be sure to retain your receipt for your records.

Make Payment

Cancelled Appointments:

Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours prior to your appointment time or you will be billed the full session fee as a No-Show fee for the missed session. Please be aware that the No-Show fee applies to initial intake appointments as well as continuing psychotherapy sessions. You may leave a voice message or text (512) 704-8349, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week notifying Dr. Ballard of your intent to cancel. Missed sessions cannot be billed to insurance and as such, you are fully responsible for payment of the No-Show fee. The No-Show fee must be paid before any future sessions are scheduled.

Emergencies:

For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately. For other issues requiring immediate attention, you may call the Austin Travis County 24 hour crisis hotline at (512) 472-4357 .
