Nurturing Parenting Program for Protective Parenting
(Classes offered in English and Spanish)
InSight Psychology and Behavioral Health Services offers a 12 week Protective Parenting certification course. The course utilizes the the Nurturing Parenting Program which is approved by the State of Texas. People completing the curriculum will learn basic parenting techniques as well as valuable communication and listening skills, proper discipline and childhood abuse and neglect prevention.
The curriculum is offered individually, as a couple or in a group setting. Parents will develop skills that will help them to identify ways to create a safe, nurturing and structured living environment for their children that will effectively meet their needs as well as achieve a level of greater family connectedness.
