Hi there! It's been a dream of mine to practice massage in a setting that embraces the importance of the body-mind connection. And I've found that connection here at InSight where massage therapy and talk therapy serve as powerful tools to potentially enhance the quality of my clients' lives. I use a blend of Eastern and Western techniques to provide effective, therapeutic full-body massage in a trauma-informed setting. I believe in the power of connecting to the body’s innate healing abilities through safe, empathetic touch. Through slow, deep compression and gentle stretching, I invite my clients to relax and let go of long-held tension patterns and find new connections with their bodies. My focus on client-centered intake and informed consent will empower you to embrace your own body autonomy and connect with your own healing power. I can't wait to help you on your healing journey!
Abbey Maedgen, M.Ed., LMT is a licensed massage therapist in the State of Texas. She studied at the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, and completed her clinical internship at A New Beginning Massage School in Austin.
During her free time, Abbey enjoys hiking, watching movies, and cuddling her dog, Samson.
