Janna Oddie Cavanaugh, Psy.D.
Dr. Janna Oddie Cavanaugh is a licensed psychologist in the State of Texas with extensive forensic and clinical training and experience. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 with a major in Psychology. She then earned her doctorate in Forensic Psychology in 2000 from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno. She completed her internship at the Cook County Jail in Chicago and worked for many years with the California Department of Corrections in both correctional and parole settings. She moved back to Austin in 2008. For the past several years she has focused on conducting psychological, cognitive, and forensic assessments and specializes in the assessment and diagnosis of mental health conditions. Populations served include adults, adolescents, and children. She is a psychological assessment provider for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and has conducted assessments for other agencies, including the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, residential treatment centers, Travis County Guardian ad litem, private security officers, and Foster Care. She also accepts assessment referrals from individuals seeking diagnostic evaluations.
