Betty Clark, PhD
Dr. Betty Clark has been licensed as a psychologist in Texas since 1996. She earned a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Texas A and M University at College Station. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed a VA internship in 1995 at the Olin E. Teague Vet Center in Temple. In 1996, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship with TAMU College of Medicine/Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas. Since then, she has maintained a private practice in various locations around central Texas and in April of 2019, she joined InSight with a primary focus on Veteran's Services. Her past professional employment has been as a college professor, as she was the Department Chair and Full Professor at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX for 13 years. Her primary theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral. At this time, she is performing diagnostic evaluations in the form of C and P exams for the VA. She enjoys spending time with her family in her leisure time, with Charles, her daughter Kelly, and her two year old grandson Hayes.
