Robert Gordon, PhD

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 45+ years of experience providing individual, group, and couples therapy, forensic, personality and medical assessments, and expert witness testimony. I have provided psychological and forensic services through hospitals, courts, churches, the military, and in a clinic setting since 1976. On a more personal note, I am a grateful husband, Dad and Grandpa, and we have two rescue dogs. We are also avid Cardinal fans.
Specialties: I specialize in helping people who are stuck... in depression, anxiety, anger, in broken relationships, and in past trauma through many treatment modalities.
I’ve treated countless individuals for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, who’ve experienced domestic violence or sexual abuse (children, adolescents, and adults), as well as over 2,000 service members of the U.S Army. I’ve conducted assessment and psychotherapeutic intervention with a variety of treatment modalities serving adults, adolescents, and children; consultation to attorneys, schools, nursing homes, human services agencies; forensic evaluations including both civil litigation (malpractice, sexual harassment, posttraumatic stress disorders, closed head injury, custody evaluations, personal injury) and criminal proceedings (competency, sanity, sentencing issues, sex offender risk assessment).
