Amanda Frazier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. She earned both her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Texas State University.
Amanda helps clients experiencing difficulty adjusting to life transition, family of origin related issues, childhood and generational trauma, chronic stress, depression, anxiety, family and relationship issues, distress related to family planning, maternal mental health and/or postpartum related issues and more.
Amanda has worked in early childcare, inpatient behavioral health, the Travis County Jail, Travis County residential treatment with incarcerated youth and their families, community health clinic and private practice. She has obtained training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Attachment-Based Interventions to Treat Trauma, Emotional Dysregulation, and Behavioral Challenges.
Amanda is dedicated to empowering clients and maintains a trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based approach to working with children, youth, adults and families. She has an integrative style and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Attachment and Systems theories to guide her practice. She employs creative arts, narrative work, mindfulness and movement in therapy.
When she is not working she enjoys relaxation, sharing meals, music, art, learning and exploring life with her spouse of 17 years and their two young children.
