If you are seeking professional guidance where you can be completely open and feel understood, accepted and supported, then I am here for you. Do you struggle to let others in, trust people, relate to your kids, understand your family or get your needs met? We all need connection, yet relationships come with frustration. While there is no instant fix, the unique relationship with your therapist can alter how you treat yourself and others. Reaching out takes immense courage and you deserve to find the right therapist for you.
I am a genuine, compassionate professional, knowledgeable in the family system and experienced in helping individuals, parents and families proactively meet their needs. I am especially fond of helping adolescents survive the teen years and strengthening parent-child attachment. I have a Master’s degree from St. Edward’s University, hold a license as a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and I am a proud Aggie alumni.
Our work will be personalized to reflect your unique needs and goals. I use humor, play and experiential interventions when helpful. I am also trained in Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Based CBT and the Gottman Method for couples. When you are ready give me a call, I am honored to talk with you.
