Lindsay C. Vogel, LCSW
Lindsay Vogel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in the areas of trauma, self-esteem, anxiety and depression. Lindsay obtained her Masters degree from Texas State University and has been seeing clients since 2005. Lindsay’s background includes working with community agencies to provide counseling services, counseling employees as part of an Employee Assistance Program, and responding to crisis scenes and critical incidents for short term therapy. Lindsay’s clinical training is based in neuroscience, and strongly focuses on the physical effects that trauma, anxiety, and depression have on the brain. Lindsay takes a solution focused approach when working with clients, and also utilizes cognitive behavioral techniques to help develop new patterns in thinking. Throughout Lindsay’s work she has found that mental health is strongly linked to overall health and in keeping with that philosophy, she has developed a passion for physical fitness and nutrition as it relates to brain functioning. Lindsay is also a Certified Personal Trainer and is studying to become a Certified Nutritionist.
